1. Money-Back Guarantee
Hostchipper offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on eligible hosting services to allow new customers evaluate our platform risk-free.
This guarantee applies only to first-time purchases of Shared Hosting plans. If you are dissatisfied with the performance or suitability of our service within the first seven (7) days of activation, you may request a refund, provided all conditions in this policy are met.
Refund requests submitted after the 7-day window will not be approved.
2. Services Eligible for Refund
Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:
- The request is made within 7 days of the initial purchase date
- The service is a Shared Hosting plan
- The account has not been suspended or terminated for abuse or policy violations
- The service has not been used for illegal or prohibited activities
- The request is submitted through Hostchipperโs official support system
Refund eligibility is determined solely by Hostchipper after reviewing the request.
3. Non-Refundable Services
Due to the nature of digital services and third-party costs, the following products and services are strictly non-refundable:
- Domain name registrations, renewals, and transfers
- VPS Hosting, Dedicated Servers, and Cloud Hosting
- SSL certificates (free or paid)
- Software licenses and third-party services
- Website migration, setup, and customization fees
- Add-ons and optional services
- Hosting renewals and upgrades
Once a domain name is registered, it cannot be canceled or refunded under any circumstances, as domain registries do not allow reversals.
4. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, customers must:
- Log in to their Hostchipper client area
- Open a support ticket under Billing / Refund Request
- Provide the reason for the refund request
All refund requests must be submitted formally. Requests made through social media, live chat, or email without a support ticket may not be processed.
5. Refund Processing and Payment Method
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method used during purchase.
- Processing time is typically 5โ10 business days
- Payment gateways or banks may take additional time to reflect the refund
- Transaction fees charged by payment processors may be deducted where applicable
HostChipper is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or third-party payment platforms.
6. Account Termination and Data Responsibility
Once a refund has been approved and processed:
- The associated hosting account will be immediately terminated
- All data, files, emails, databases, and configurations will be permanently deleted
- Data recovery after termination is not possible
Customers are solely responsible for backing up their data before submitting a refund request.
7. Abuse, Fraud, and Policy Violations
Refunds will not be issued for accounts suspended or terminated due to:
- Spamming, phishing, or email abuse
- Hosting malicious software, malware, or viruses
- Fraudulent activities or payment disputes
- Copyright infringement or illegal content
- Excessive resource abuse affecting other users
- Violation of Hostchipperโs Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
HostChipper reserves the right to deny refunds in cases where abuse or misuse is detected.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are strongly advised to contact Hostchipper support before initiating a chargeback.
Filing a chargeback without prior communication may result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Permanent termination of services
- Blacklisting from future HostChipper services
Any fees incurred from chargebacks will be the responsibility of the customer.
9. Partial Refunds
Hostchipper does not offer partial refunds for:
- Unused service time
- Downgrades
- Early cancellations after the refund period
Once a service has been renewed or used beyond the money-back guarantee period, no refunds will be issued.
10. Policy Modifications
Hostchipper reserves the right to update, modify, or revise this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
